Friday        8/05

A new comedy series from Brian Grazer debuts at 8:00pm and it has the same title as a current hit movie. Friends With Benefits has a young couple who hang out and bed down together as each searches for the perfect mate. Another episode of Friends With Benefits follows at 8:30pm with Ben and Sarah putting a halt to their physical relation when Sarah starts to date a co-worker. Dateline NBC follows and airs from 9:00pm – 11:00pm with Keith Morrison working to separate fact from fiction when a high school buddy implicates his friend in the murder of a revered newspaper sports editor.. On WITN 7.2, Me-TV we kick off a weekend-long tribute to Lucille Ball on what would have been her 100th birthday. An extra episode of Twilight Zone will air at 11:30pm and then at 12midnight we kick off continuous episodes of I Love Lucy, We Love Lucy and The Lucy Show.

 

Saturday      8/06

We’ll simulcast a couple episodes of The Lucy Show on WITN 7.1 at 1:00pm in honor of Lucille Ball’s 100th Birthday weekend. We have “Lucy in the Music World” and “Lucy the Robot”.  NBC Sports: The Hambletonian is at 3:00pm as we broadcast the top race for trotters. NBC Sports: U.S. National Swimming Championship follows from 4:00pm – 6:00pm. In prime time we have an NBC Movie Special: Who Is Simon Miller from 8:00pm – 10:00pm. In this movie an unassuming geologist goes missing and when his wife and two kids start investigating they uncover a mystery in his office as they discover multiple passports with fictitious names and embark on an international search to find out the real identity of their missing husband and father. Law & Order: L.A. follows at 10:opt with Rita Wilson portraying the overprotective mother of a teenage boy found naked in a stranger’s apartment. Saturday Night Live is at 11:30pm with a repeat show with Ed Helms and Paul Simon.

 

Sunday          8/07

Crook & Chase is at 2:00pm while Deadliest Catch airs at 3:00pm. NBC Sports: Training Daze, a golf special is at 4:00pm followed by NBC Sports: U.S. National Swimming from 5:00pm – 6:00pm. Dateline NBC is from 7:00pm – 8:00pm with Tom Brokaw back for a special report, “The Road Back” as he follows three families affected by the war in Iraq. The NFL cancelled the NFL Hall-Of-Fame Game: Chicago Bears vs. St. Louis Rams so instead we have another episode of It’s Worth What? at 8:00pm with a landlord and tenant trying for the top prize followed by a 2 episodes of The Marriage Ref at 9:00pm and 10:00pm. In the first show the judging panel of Cedric the Entertainer, Rachel Dratch and Joel McHale adjudicate the disputes of 3 couples including one in which the husband has issues with the wife’s greeting card compulsion. Then the next shows follows with Judah Friedlander, Ali Wentwork and Will I. Am judging the disputes three couples troubles including a wife that redecorates while the husband is at work, a man who wants to run a vineyard instead of practicing medicine and a fantasy football widow. Stay tuned, we have some new NFL Preseason Games added to our schedule!

 

Monday        8/08

America’s Got Talent airs for 2-hours from 8:00pm – 10:00pm as the repeat telecasts are moved from Sunday to Monday night. Tonight’s episode repeats the final performance competition from the original 48 contestants. Harry’s Law follows at 10:00pm with Harry in contempt facing disbarment after she tells the jury that her client is guilty, resulting in a mistrial.

 

Tuesday         8/09

It’s Worth What? at 8:00pm welcomes a couple of real, real housewives from Orange County as they try to figure out the value of various items and rank them by total value. It’s “Youtube” night on America’s Got Talent from 9:00pm – 11:00pm as various acts that performed on “YouTube” videos that were voted on by the television audience get their chance to perform in front of a live audience along with Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel.

 

Wednesday       8/10

A U.S. Marine and an Army wife team up together to face the challenges of Minute To Win It! at 8:00pm. The results are in for America’s Got Talent at 9:00pm and Nick Cannon reveals which four acts from YouTube will move on in the competition. Love In The Wild follows at 10:00pm as the remaining couples in this next to last episode must swim out to a boat and search the ocean floor for clues in the adventure.

 

Thursday         8/11

Community at 8:00pm and Greendale is getting ready for a visit by the vice-president while they hold their first student body election. Parks & Recreation follows at 8:30pm with Leslie and Ben on a road trip to Indianapolis. The Office airs at 9:00pm with Michael passing the torch to Deangelo (Will Ferrell) and giving him the chance to host the “Dundies”. On 30 Rock at 9:30pm with Liz going into detective mode as she works to discover where Tracy has been hiding. Law & Order: SVU airs at 10:00pm with Detectives Benson and Stabler helping a rape victim (Jennifer Love-Hewitt) stand up to her attacker.

 

Friday         8/12

Friends With Benefits at 8:00pm with Aaron, Ben and Fitz arguing about the “pecking order” among the three of them and Sarah trying to keep up with Riley’s lifestyle. Another episode of Friends With Benefits follows at 8:30pm with Ben dating an amnesiac and Fitz working to find his mother a female friend. Dateline NBC will have two reports from 9:00pm – 11:00pm.

 

Saturday       8/13

Lots of NBC Sports action this afternoon with NBC Sports: U.S. Diving Championships (Women’s Platform) getting it started at 2:00pm. That’s followed by NBC Sports: AMS Motocross from 3:00pm – 4:00pm, the Dew Countdown Show at 4:00pm and then NBC Sports: Dew Tour from 4:30pm – 6:00pm. In prime time we have another episode of Who Do You Think You Are? at 8:00pm, tonight profiling Rosie O’Donnell. A special, Wrestlemania World Premiere is at 9:00pm and this show comes from a sold-out Georgia Dome and include stars such as Dwayne ‘The Rock” Johnson. Another episode of Law & Order: SVU airs at 10:00pm with Detectives Benson and Stabler investigating a campus rape after Stabler gives a rape prevention talk at his daughter’s school. Saturday Night Live has a Social Network evening with host Jesse Eisenberg and Nicki Minja.

 

Sunday         8/14

Crook & Chase airs at 2:00pm. NBC Sports: U.S. Diving Championships (Men’s Platform) follows from 3:00pm – 4:00pm. The Dew Countdown Show is at 4:00pm and then the final competition of NBC Sports: Dew Tour – Competition Show airs from 4:30pm – 6:00pm. In prime time we have Dateline NBC at 7:00pm, Minute To Win It! at 8:00pm and then The Marriage Ref from 9:00pm – 11:00pm. On tonight’s first show we have America’s Got Talent host Nick Cannon along with Pattie Labelle and Ali Wentworth adjudicating three marriage disputes. The second show has Bill Maher, Patti LaBelle and Ali Wentworth.

 

Monday    8/15

We have a repeat of the 2-hour America’s Got Talent YouTube episode airing from 8:00pm – 10:00pm. On Harry’s Law at 10:00pm when a dispute between rival gangs looks to become violent Harry and Malcolm form an unlikely pair to mediate the dispute.

 

Tuesday      8/16

On It’s Worth What? at 8:00pm Cedric the Entertainer welcomes two buddies that work together in sales as they attempt to put their business skills to work pricing and valuing various items. America’s Got Talent follows from 9:00pm – 11:00pm with judges Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne and Howie Mandel given the opportunity to call up “wildcat” acts as each judge is given the opportunity to recall their favorite acts that got eliminated in earlier audition rounds.

 

Wednesday      8/17

Minute To Win It! is at 8:00pm and two women must use their ears and sense of touch to line up a series of soda cans filled with change from the lowest value to the highest based upon the estimated number of coins in the cans. America’s Got Talent follows from 9:00pm – 10:00pm with host Nick Cannon revealing the vote counts and the four wildcat acts selected to move on to the next round. The final adventure on Love In The Wild leaves one couple standing at 10:00pm this evening, and once the winning couple is revealed, we get to learn if they also found love on their adventure.

 

Thursday            8/18

Community kicks things off at 8:00pm with Jeff planning a special “Pulp Fiction” party in recognition of Abed’s love of cinema. Parks & Recreation follows at 8:30pm with Leslie angry at Pam when she offers a lukewarm reaction to a possible job at city hall. On The Office at 9:00pm DeAngelo (Will Ferrell) plays favorites by starting to create his own “inner circle” of prized employees. 30 Rock is at 9:30pm and with “TGS” on the brink of cancellation Liz and the crew have one more chance to shine with the production of their 100th episode. Law & Order: SVU follows at 10:00pm and when police discover a boy dead on a park carousel it leads Detectives Benson and Stabler to the unsettling case of a gambling ring.

 

Friday         8/19

Are your ready for some NFL Football? We pick up the Carolina Panther’s Network tonight for a look at Cam Newton and Preseason Football with the Carolina Panthers at the Miami Dolphins. Game time is at 7:30pm live from Miami. After the game we will air tonight’s episode of Jeopardy at 10:30pm. Dateline NBC will air on a delayed basis on Saturday afternoon.

 

Saturday      8/20

Dateline NBC from Friday night will air from 3:00pm – 5:00pm followed by thoroughbred horse racing with NBC Sports: Summer at Saratoga: Alabama from 5:00pm – 6:00pm In prime time we have more sports with women’s gymnastics as we air NBC Sports: Visa Championships from 8:00pm – 11:00pm. Law & Order: SVU is at 10:00pm as Captain Jackson (Jeremy Irons) and his estranged daughter are reunited by her partner under unfortunate circumstances. Saturday Night Live at 11:30pm repeats the show with Anne Hathaway and Florence & the Machine.

 

Sunday     8/21

A special hurricane safety program, What Do You Do When the Lights Go Out will air at 12:30pm. Crook & Chase is back at 2:00pm followed by an episode of 227. NBC Sports: BMX Supercross airs from 3:30pm – 4:30pm and hopefully we will see some of the talent that trains in Greenville. NBC Sports: Visa Championships (gymnastics) wraps up from 4:30pm – 6:00pm. We have Dateline NBC from 7:00pm – 8:00pm followed by our second preseason game of the weekend, NFL Preseason Football: San Diego at Dallas from 8:00pm – 11:00pm.
