TV Highlights: ‘Bethenny Ever After’; ‘Fashion Police’; new ‘Dancing With the … – Washington Post

Monday evening, “World News With Diane Sawyer” (ABC at 6:30 p.m.) features “Made in America,” a series that examines American manufacturers and challenges a family to furnish its home using only products made in America.

In place of “Parker Spitzer,” CNN launches “In the Arena” at 8 p.m. on weeknights. It’s a debate and interview show with Eliot Spitzer, E.D. Hill and Will Cain.

A patient finds himself in a serious jam on “House” (Fox at 8) when he gets a severe rash from exposure to a chemical at his blue-collar job, but he has been lying to his wife and telling her he still works at a fancy real estate gig.

Brad and the final three women – Ashley, Chantal, Emily – travel to South Africa on “The Bachelor” (ABC at 8) and have a romantic time . . . sounds nice. But in more important and exciting news, the spring 2011 “Dancing With the Stars” cast is announced during the episode.

“Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations” (Travel Channel at 9) launches a new season with Bourdain in Haiti, visiting actor Sean Penn to discover more about the country’s culture in the wake of the tragic earthquake.

Sure, Serena’s mom sent Ben to jail for a crime he didn’t commit – but somehow, the drama really gets kicked up a notch for the fledgling couple when Serena meets Ben’s mother on “Gossip Girl” (CW at 9).

Former “Real Housewives of New York City” cast member Bethenny Frankel lives life in front of the cameras again for Season 2 of her reality show – renamed “Bethenny Ever After” (Bravo at 10). The series follows Bethenny as she adjusts to life with her husband and newborn daughter. In the premiere, Bethenny’s trip to visit the in-laws in a small town gets off to a rocky start.

Joan Rivers and crew obsessively analyze the best and worst of the Oscar looks on a special, hour-long “Fashion Police: The 2011 Academy Awards” (E! at 10).

Jenna’s already having a bad day on “Harry’s Law” (NBC at 10) when her car is stolen, but things get even worse when Harry makes a hurtful comment toward her that causes a rift.

Actress Christina Applegate visits “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno” (NBC at 11:35), along with “Must Love Cats” host John Fulton and musical guest Michael Franti.

“Late Show With David Letterman” (CBS at 11:35) hosts news anchor Brian Williams, “South Park” creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone and the country music group Zac Brown Band.
