Kirstie Alley loses weight on DWTS, Lenny Kravitz in Hunger Games and The Hangover 2 legal debacle continues.
Happy Tuesday! Today we discuss Kirstie Alley’s awesome weight loss, which has been greatly helped by her Dancing With the Stars routines. We’ll also discuss Lenny Kravitz’s new role in the “Hunger Games,” as well as another popular film (The Hangover Part II) that, due to legal issues, may never be released!!
Kirstie Alley has been phenomenal on DWTS, and her dedication has earned her a spot amongst the final 3 contestants. But this isn’t the only perk that has come out of the actress’ participation in the show-Alley has also lost an incredible 38 inches since her debut on the show! Alley has only been on DWTS for two and a half months, but since then she has really slimmed down. Thus far, Kirstie Alley is staying mum on how much weight she has lost in total. “There will be some reveal of that at some point, but I really didn’t care,” the starlet explained. “As long as I kept changing and changing and changing, I really didn’t care. It was like, keep whittling, whittling, whittling. And the other thing that’s really more significant to me — I mean, I love the whittling, I like being skinny — I’m really strong and really agile and it gave me a new life.” What do you think of Alley’s new look? Things are looking up for Lenny Kravitz, who will be starring as “Cinna” in the highly anticipated “Hunger Games.” According to the film’s director, When I saw Lenny’s work in ‘Precious,’ I was just knocked out. It was quiet and strong and understated and openhearted; all qualities which define this character. I’m really looking forward to this ride.” Were you a fan of Lenny Kravitz’ performance in Precious? Do you think he should stick to singing, or is he multi-talented?
The sequel to “The Hangover” is looked forward to by a lot of people, but due to one tattoo artist’s weird hangup, it may never see release. In “The Hangover Part II” Ed Helm’s character comically sports facial ink that looks identical to Mike Tyson’s (who has cameos in both movies). Now the artist behind Tyson’s tattoo, S Victor Whitmill, is causing a ruckus, saying that the art is “copyrighted,” which Warner Bros. is taking pretty seriously. Do you think tattoos should be “copyrighted”? Does S Victor Whitmill have a solid case? And why does this guy have such a stupid name? Mr. Whitmill better come to his senses rather quickly because if The Hangover 2 doesn’t get released on time, madness will ensue.
