Islamabad police stage flag march

ISLAMABAD: The contingents of Islamabad Police on Friday conducted flag march in city to ensure peace and tranquility and maintain high vigilance against the anti-social elements.

The convoy of 40 vehicles also participated in this flag march that was led by ASP Secretariat Shakir Ahmed Shahid. This exercise was conducted on the special directions of IGP Islamabad Bani Amin Khan and SSP Islamabad Tahir Alam Khan with the objective to maintain further high vigilance and ensure peaceful atmosphere in the city.

Inspector Khalid Mehmud Awan from Rescue 15, SHO Secretariat police station Asjad Altaf, patrolling officers of Aabpara, Kohsar, Margallah, Industrial area, Falcon and Eagle squads as well as police commandos participated in this flag march. Flag March started from Radio Pakistan Chowk and culminated near Dhokri Chowk after passing in front of Parliament House, Margallah Road, Atta Turk Avenue, Ayub Chowk, Super Market, 9th Avenue, I-8, Faisal Avenue and Kashmir Highway. app
