Holly Madison and Other Stars Who Have Insured Body Parts – Hollywood Reporter

Holly Madison admitted Thursday that she insured her breasts for $1 million.
“I’ve heard about people getting body parts insured and I thought, why not?, because if anything happened to my boobs, I’d be out for a few months and I’d probably be out a million dollars,” she told People. “I thought I’d cover my assets.”

The former girlfriend to Hugh Hefner and star of reality show Holly’s World — who currently appears topless in her Las Vegas revue, Peepshow — adds that her breasts “are getting the credit they deserve. They’re my primary money makers right now.”
But she’s not the only boldfaced name who has taken out a policy on her body.
Riverdance’s Michael Flatley reportedly took out a policy for $2 million on his legs — $1 million per leg.

Real Madrid announced they insured star Cristiano Ronaldo’s legs for $144 million.
Ugly Betty’s America Ferrera has a $10 million insurance policy on her teeth, taken out by Aquafresh White Trays. She’s working with the company on a charity campaign to help unemployed women with free dental care.
Pittsburgh Steeler Troy Polamalu has a $1 million policy on his considerable head of hair. Procter & Gamble picked up the tab when he agreed to be a spokesman for Head & Shoulders.
Jennifer Lopez reportedly has a $27 million insurance policy on her body. The New York Post reported in 1999 that she carried $1 billion worth of insurance then.

Bette Davis bought a $28,000 insurance policy through Lloyd’s of London in the 1040s on her waist. Betty Grable reportedly had her legs insured for $1 million by MGM.
Celebrities aren’t the only ones who take out policies.
Food critic Egon Ronay insured his taste buds for $400,000, wine producer Ilja Gort insured his nose for a reported $6.7 million. According to reports, the policy says he has to abstain from winter sports, fire breathing and boxing.
