Poor Christina Aguilera: First it was flubbing her lines singing the National Anthem at this year’s Super Bowl, then her box-office bomb Burlesque, and now last night she was arrested for public intoxication while her boyfriend Matthew Rutler was arrested for drunk driving. Go on get your X-tina “Drunk-ilera” song puns here. (via US Magazine)
I’d like to thank The Academy: Hollywood’s biggest night of the year last weekend reportedly gave Los Angeles an economic boost of more than $130 million. Thanks Oscar! (via Business Insider)
Funny Flavor: Ben & Jerry’s newest flavor was inspired by Jimmy Fallon and includes fudge-covered potato chips, salted caramel and vanilla ice cream. It’s called “Late Night Snack” and is reportedly very sweet, eager to please and kind of funny, much like Fallon. (via Grub Street)
Hollywood actress and pinup passes: Jane Russell – who had her sensational debut in Howard Hughes’ The Outlaw – has died at 89. (via LA Times)
Surely you can’t be serious: Charlie Sheen’s mayhemic media blitz continues. The troubled star visited Piers Morgan last night and the Today show again this morning. Sheen told his fans not to be worried and of his two “goddess” girlfriends: “”Everybody’s vote has equal importance, but when we’re approaching crisis, I reminded them I’m 22 years further down the road, and trust me that most of the time — well, in the last few days, all the time — my plan is gonna be the best one in the room. Trust me on that, and everyone will win.” (via Vulture)
