2011 NBA Mock Draft: Every Selection for All 30 Teams, What Will Raptors Do?
The Raptors were undoubtedly dealt the worst hand when the results of the ping pong balls were announced on Tuesday night.
After heading into lottery night with one of the best chances at winning the top slot, the Canadian franchise actually moved backward in the order and find themselves with the fifth overall pick.
Some have predicted that the team will gamble on yet another European big man, but after the failed experiment of making Andrea Bargnani the team’s top option last season, I’m not sold that they’d be geared toward that selection.

The team may miss out on Kemba Walker, but the point guard position is an obvious hole that needs to be filled. Luckily for them, Brandon Knight is still available on the board at this juncture, and he may very well turn into the top talent from this draft class.
With the team looking to turn the page from Mr. Glass Jose Calderon, Knight would make for a fine choice to round out the top five.
